Ministry Teams of Faith Lutheran Church
•Worship Ministry Team: Works with the pastor to plan meaningful and inspiring worship and music for regular and festive services throughout the year.
•Prayer Ministry Team: Plans activities for all ages that will keep prayer at the center of our congregational life. The team also acts as a prayer resource that will encourage members to deepen their prayer life.
•Children's Education Ministry Team: Works to expand our children's ministry for young people in our own faith community and also for the wider community.
•Youth Ministry Team: Plans educational, social, and service events and activities for and with our youth that will enrich their Christian faith.
•Caring Ministry Team: The Caring Ministry Team is responsible to educate the congregation about local, regional, and global justice issues, to find opportunities for congregational members to financially support social justice agencies of the church and community, and provide opportunities for members to have hands-on experience in addressing social justice needs.
•Connect Ministry Team: Plans fellowship events that help members and friends of Faith to connect with each other socially. The team also works on finding new and creative ways to invite and welcomes those from the wider community with our church community.
•Stewardship Ministry Team: Plans and implements our annual stewardship campaign and encourages members to grow in their giving both financially and with their gifts/talents throughout the year.
•Property Ministry Team: Cares for the building and property of the church through continual maintenance and improvements as a witness to invite others to our church home.
Mission Support of Faith
•Doing Day (Quilters) meet at 9am every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month (during the school year).
•Mission Sunday is every 2nd Sunday of the month- supporting ELCA missionaries
•God's Global Barnyard (towards ELCA World Hunger) one Sunday every month
•Equal Exhange Coffee Program
•School kits drive
***Faith Lutheran is also a member of Isle/Wahkon Area Ministerial Association; participates in the local food pantry; hosts Alcoholics Anonymous; supports One More Time thrift store; hosts "Our Home"- Volunteers of America, as well as GriefShare group
